A big hello and a warm welcome to Behland, home of odd-bod ornaments, friendly ghosts, colourful charms, pocket altars, magickal gifts and other assorted articles.

Where any day can always be brightened by smiling ghosts and a cup of tea!

Thank you for dropping by!

I make a variety of objects, from polymer clay creatures to hand sewn decorations and pillows. I’ve recently started experimenting with jewellery making and beading, so hope to list some of these creations as well.

Many of the items I make tend to be inspired by a passion for myth and magic, spells and folklore.

Some items come with their own information or instruction sheets.

I also love all things cute and spooky, which is where the ghosts come in...

Signature items are definitely The Behland Worry Ghosts - happy, spectral buddies who carry out a purpose similar to that of traditional worry dolls.

A lot of the things I make have their roots in a mythical world I dreamt up with the intention of writing children’s storybooks. That never happened, but Behland, and it’s smiling yellow Beh inhabitants have lived on via the medium of ornaments and dioramas. Each Beh has it’s own backstory and miniature props.

Freshly fired Behs. Seems almost a shame to paint them...
